About the Artist
I have been painting since 1987. Painting brings me much enjoyment.
Currently, I am living my ultimate goal of teaching art full time and have
built my own "state of the art" studio. My art background was inspired by
Bill Alexander's Wet on Wet Technique and thoroughly groomed by my teacher,
Arlee Jenkins and all of the wonderful TEAM instructors across the United
States. I paint in various mediums i.e. oils, acrylics and watercolors on
various surfaces such as canvas, glass, mirrors, leather, wood, etc. I
have studied under many master instructors including, Brenda Harris, Buck
Paulson, Valerie Stewart, Lowell Spears and Robert Warren.
I am a member of the North East T.E.A.M. and have sold well over 200
paintings. Teaching is so rewarding. I watch people enjoy themselves, as well
as, witness them experiencing the depth of expression that only art can emerge
from oneself.
