| About the Artist
Gloria Stegman has been involved in art for 23 years. She has worked in
watercolor, pen and ink, oil, acrylic, graphite and other mediums. She has
studied with many well known artists, including many who have appeared on TV.
Gloria became a certified instructor and has been teaching oil painting since
1980. She has taught drawing and sketching at Fort Lauderdale High School
Adult education for four years. She teaches oil and acrylic technique
painting at Wordens World of Craft Stores for eighteen years and fine art
classes in several mediums. Also has taught in Broward County Parks and
Recreation system for three years and two years at Michaels art store in Davie,
Florida. She is certified by three art manufacturers, Alexander Art,
Koh-I-Noor/Grumbacher, and ColArt/Winsor/Newton in all mediums.
Her studies include many workshops with TV artists as well as
four year old masters technique oil portrait classes, six years drawing,
landscapes, still life and animals in several mediums. Gloria attends art
manufacturers conferences and seminars every year and teaches at some.
