| About the Artist
Rose established Colorado Creations in
1987. Based in Pueblo, Colorado, this unique company offers a wide variety of
hand-painted gifts and collectibles. Rose Starling started the company after 12
years of painting, which began with a Tole Painting class. From there on, her
knowledge and talent has been completely self-taught.
Her love is painting landscapes,
wildlife, historical trains and southwestern themed paintings on sawblades,
canvas and various antiques. Rose is skilled in many forms of painting and pen
and ink. She has been teaching oil painting classes for the last 20 years. Rose
offers several original designs in her instructional Painting Packets. As of April 2005, Rose has
become a Dorothy Dent Certified Instructor. Classes are available with Rose or
you can meet her and see her art work at the many arts and crafts and trade
shows she does through out the year in Colorado. Rose
has several booths displaying her work for sale at Crafter's Haven in the Pueblo
Mall in Pueblo, Colorado.
