| About the Artist
Pat was a native of Maine, living in Windham all of my life and raising her family
there. She was self taught but had traveled all over the country taking
classes from Master Artists as well as having them teach in her shop. Painting
had always been a love of hers. She felt it's the best medicine one can get.
It builds self confidence and teaches one to see rather than just look. It's a
stress perfect reducer too.
She won several ribbons in State competitions and had
several one person shows. Pat believed it's a wonderful life doing what pleases you
most and for her its was painting. She had recently been juried into "Salt Water
Artists" gallery.
A favorite of her students was something she called Paintography.
Paintography is painting on a photograph, extending the embellishment out over
the matt.
She taught in oils, watercolors,
acrylics, fabric painting and pastels. She did many commissions and private
lessons as well as travel teaching. She taught all levels of painting . In her
shop in Windham, Maine she taught, sold supplies, sold paintings and did framing.
