Art has been a part of my life since I was a child, drawing and painting whenever I got the chance. My talent in art has been a God given gift.  I have experimented with a variety of mediums over the years, which include acrylics, watercolor, air brush, and oils. My preference at this time is oils and acrylics.

My art training has been minimal.  I have taken a few adult education evening classes over the years and I am currently attending a Fine Arts class taught by Gloria Stegman at Wordens one morning a week.  This Fine Arts class with Gloria has encouraged me and taught me much more than I have been able to acquire on my own over the years.  Most of my knowledge and experience with drawing and painting has come from practice and reading lessons from artist books and magazines.

I have sold a dozen or so of my paintings over the years, but the majority of my art work has been given as gifts to family and friends or donated for raffles at various work and church related functions.

I am now retired and have been able to devote  more time to my painting for exhibiting and selling.
