| About the Artist
Gloria Lowery has been an active painter since 1976 when she began teaching
a wet on wet technique. She developed her own style in the realistic
tradition and in 1981 moved to North Carolina. There she developed a
passion for painting wildlife. Her mission: "Helping students to
understand the need to care about the welfare of these animals through the
joy of painting them. "Her business card states: "Have Brush Will
Travel"
