| About the Artist
I am art instructor and painter. I began painting
from slides and photos taken while backpacking and mountain climbing in the High
Sierras. I enjoy painting outdoors (plein air). I paint in Oils, Watercolors and
Pastels. Being outdoors gives me the most enjoyment. I paint with several groups
so I get out often.
I also like to teach the techniques I have
learned and can teach even beginners to paint. My classes are held in my home
studio in Glendora, California and at various workshops.
I belong to San Gabriel Fine Art Association,
T.E.A.M., a national group of professional art teachers, Alexander Certified
Instructors, Plein Air Artists of Riverside (PAAR) and the Southern California
Plein Air Painters Association (SOCALPAPA). I am a guest instruction at
Yosemite National Park
I would like to thank my Lord and savior Jesus
Christ, not only for His love and forgiveness but for bringing out the artistic
talents I now have.
