John's ability to teach is proven. His enthusiasm, attention to detail,
and his easy-to-master techniques are unequaled. Because of his unique and
relaxed approach to teaching his students are instantly put as ease and marvel
as their painting starts to come together.
John travels extensively through the United States and
Canada teaching seminars, both large and small. He teaches all levels of
students, from beginner to advanced. Even if you have never painted
before, in a one day lesson you can create a beautiful painting that you will be
proud to bring home to your loved ones.
John's approach to teaching is basic, yet masterful.
His ability to reach and motivate others is proven. By following John's
techniques, anyone can become a successful artist. He has studied with
Brenda Harris, Robert Warren, Jerry Yarnell, Lowell Spears, Valerie Stewart,
Este Rayle, and other Big Brushes. He paints in all mediums, but only
teaches in acrylics, oils, and Fabric.
His specialty is people portraits, Birds of Pray, Land and
Sea Scrapes.
John possesses certifications in many medias for notable
companies such as Alexander Art, Koh-I-Noor, Grumbacher, Andree Art of Canada,
and Col Art Americas to mention just a few. John is also a charter member
and advisor of T.E.A.M. (Teachers & Educators of Art Materials).
