| About the Artist
I have been an artist since 1984 and studied Brenda Harris's paintings starting out. She inspired me to continue my art and so I began doing my own originals. I have sold a lot of my originals to date. I teach at Hobby Lobby in West Columbia, SC and have been there 3 years. I also taught at Lexington Mental Health for the Patients which was very rewarding. I was vice president for Trenholm Artist Guild for 2 years and a member since 1984. I have been in juried shows as well. Teaching has been a wonderful experience for me because I love sharing what I have learned all these years with someone else. Just knowing I inspired someone, like Brenda inspired me, gives me great pleasure. My family has also supported me and helped when I needed them. I will continue to teach and give back what I learned to anyone who wants it. Being on the Southeastern TEAM has given me a purpose to continue on. Currently, I'm teaching at Hobby Lobby in West Columbia, SC.
