A native of Greensboro, Lisa Bennett Alley attended Northeast Senior High School, where she earned the Outstanding Student Art Award.  Lisa is a graduate of Greensboro College with a B.S. major in Biology and an Art minor.  Her work has been exhibited in collegiate art shows. 

Lisa has served as the Assistant Director of the Scholastic Arts Program, working with middle and high school teachers throughout North Carolina and Virginia.  She has been instrumental in judging and exhibiting the artistic works of young artists.

Lisa’s interest in art began in her years in elementary school.  Her favorite medium is watercolor, although she also paints in acrylics and oils.  Lisa’s favorite subjects range from landscapes and private homes, to historic buildings, and churches.  She designs and paints her own Christmas cards.
