| About the Artist
Doni attended Baker University in Baldwin Kansas and majored in Education and
minored in Art History. She is past president of Three Rivers Decorative Artists
and is a past president of Great Lakes Region of TEAM.
Doni was featured on the front page of "People" in the Fort
Wayne Journal Gazette and on one of the local TV news programs (WANE-TV).
The 8-foot angel she painted is hung from a church each December and was
featured last year in the Waynedale News.
She has studied with Mary Jo Leisure, Mary Lou Johnson,
Karen Patton, Gretchen Cagle, Mark Polomchak, Donna Bryant Waterson, Valerie
Stewart, Este Rayle, and other Big Brushes. She paints in all mediums,
but only teaches in acrylics and oils.
Her specialty is people portraits, animal portraits, and
flowers. She is an active member of the Fort Wayne Artist's Guild. Certified
at Silver level by Grumbacher in 2000, Certified Gold by
ColArt AMerica's, Inc. in 2002
